In Dagestan, policeman wounded in shelling of police car

Last night, in the Tsumada District of Dagestan, unidentified persons fired several shots at a car with policemen and wounded one of them. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

The incident occurred at about 1:00 a.m. Moscow time in the village of Kvanada.

"Unidentified attackers opened fire on the car, which transported policemen to the place of the official task. One of the policemen was wounded," the "Interfax-South" quotes a law enforcer as reporting.

Police Captain Efimov from Buryatia got a severe fire wound, the "Notebook" reports with reference to its source in the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

"Policemen are combing the area in search for the criminals, who opened fire on their colleagues," the law enforcer has reported.
