Yunus-Bek Evkurov proposes to create special team to identify recruiters of IS in social networks

Recruitment of young people into the ranks of the "Islamic State" (IS , earlier ISIL) and other terrorist organizations in social networks should be prevented by specially trained professionals. A working team of such specialists will soon appear in Ingushetia. This was announced by the Ingush leader.

On October 6, Yunus-Bek Evkurov announced his proposal at the meeting of the Ingush Antiterrorist Commission and the operational headquarters held in Magas.

"We need to take preventive measures to combat the recruitment and outflow of our young people into the ranks of terrorist groupings, including ISIL and others. I believe we should create a working team to identify those persons, who provoke and mislead our young people in social networks. Their number includes a considerable part of recruiters, who earn a lot of money, deceiving young people," the Ingush leader has stated as quoted by the "Interfax-South".

In his turn, Alexander Kumanyaev, Chief of the Russian FSB Department for Ingushetia, has noted that the territory of Northern Caucasus and, in particular, Ingushetia suffer from the developed system of recruiting people to international terrorist organizations.

"In these circumstances, it can be assumed that the leaders of international terrorist organizations are trying to take counter measures, for example, to initiate a new round of subversive terrorist war in the territory of our country. And it is a real threat, and we may not underestimate it," the official website of the Republic of Ingushetia quotes Alexander Kumanyaev as stating.

Till present, the assumed date of the establishment of the special team to identify recruiters of terrorist organizations in social networks has not been reported yet.
