Makhachkala residents report on detention of mosque-goers

Law enforcers carried out mass detentions of young people after the prayer in the mosque, located in the area of the Makhachkala garden and dacha community "Palmyra". This was reported by eyewitnesses.

Today, the information about the detention of the mosque-goers has been received by the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot".

"Yesterday, in Makhachkala, in the area of the garden and dacha community 'Palmyra', mosque-goers were massively detained after Friday prayer at the mosque. Policemen forced to buses all people without distinction," wrote the author of the SMS-message.

On September 2, the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot" also received a report concerning the mosque. "Provocations can occur near the mosque in the garden and dacha community 'Palmyra' in Makhachkala," reported the author of the SMS-message.

During the operation held on September 2, law enforcers detained only young men wearing beards. The detainees were taken away in two buses, the "Chernovik" (Draft) reports with reference to eyewitnesses of the incident.
