Power agents link execution of fortune teller's family in Dagestan with Sharia court verdict

One of the participants of the execution of the family of a fortune teller in the Dagestani village of Rubas was Abutdin Khanmagomedov, a member of "Derbent" grouping, who fulfilled a Sharia court verdict, said a law enforcement source.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that three persons were killed in an armed attack in the Derbent District of Dagestan on September 15. During the attack, the hostess of the house, her husband and the woman's brother were shot dead. According to a law enforcement source, the killing is connected "with a vengeance of militants to the hostess, engaged in fortune-telling."

According to a law enforcement source, operative agents of the local department of FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan "have established a possible killer of the woman and two men in the village of Rubas."

"According to the description and various attributes operative agents were able to identify one of the killers of the persons in Rubas, Derbent District. It is Abutdin Kerimovich Khanmagomedov, born in 1984, a member of the "South" branch of Derbent terrorist grouping," the newspaper "Izvestia" quoted a source from power structures.

According to the publication, Khanmagomedov, together with other members of the grouping, "executed a death sentence of Sharia court."

According to calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", from January 2011, at least 12 fortune tellers, healers and witches were killed in Dagestan.
