Krasnodar resident fined 100,000 roubles for his repost in social networks

In the social network "VKontakte", Sergey Titarenko, an activist from Krasnodar, reposted a text about Russian President Vladimir Putin under the caption "No dictator - no problem." The Russian FSB Department for the Krasnodar Territory accused him of extremism, Sergey Titarenko reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Sergey Titarenko was recognized a political prisoner by the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial". According to investigators, he disseminated in the social network "VKontakte" the information calling for the murder of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The human rights activists believe Sergey Titarenko is prosecuted for his desire to take part in the failed "March for Federalization of Kuban". On March 25, Sergey Titarenko was released from SIZO (pre-trial prison) in Krasnodar on recognizance not to leave.

The Investigating Division of the Russian FSB Department for the Krasnodar Territory filed charges against Sergey Titarenko under Part 1 of Article 280 (public calls for extremist activity) and Part 2 of Article 282.1 (participation in an extremist community) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The criminal case was initiated on the fact that on his page on the social network "VKontakte", Sergey Titarenko posted the link to the message by the "Kolomoisky broadcasting" group with the text about Vladimir Putin under the caption "No dictator - no problem", the "Yugopolis" reports.
