For month of investigation, Sagid Murtazaliev not declared wanted
Till present, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has not put on the wanted list Sagid Murtazaliev, the head of the Dagestani branch of the Russian Pension Fund. The relevant promise was voiced by Vladimir Markin, Spokesman of the ICRF, more than one month ago.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 28, Vladimir Markin announced a promise to put Sagid Murtazaliev on the wanted list. Vladimir Markin has also reported that Sagid Murtazaliev and Andrei Vinogradov, the head of the Kizlyar District of Dagestan, detained on July 27, are defendants in the case on several crimes, including murders, an attempted murder, and terrorist financing.
Andrei Vinogradov was arrested by the Basmanny Court of Moscow on July 29, and investigators reported no new information with regard to Sagid Murtazaliev. Till present, Dagestani law enforcers have not provided any information about whether they got a request to search for Sagid Murtazaliev.
Meanwhile, it was reported that on July 27 and July 30, the searches were carried out in the summer cottage of Sagid Murtazaliev and in his office in Makhachkala, respectively.
Yet on August 27, the "Interfax" reported with reference to a source in the power bodies that Sagid Murtazaliev hided from prosecution in Dubai. On July 30, supporters of Sagid Murtazaliev claimed that he was in Germany, where he was recovering from surgery underwent by him because of an injury got during training.
