NKR declares 950 cases of ceasefire violations within a week

On August 23-29, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime on the contact line of the troops for about 950 times, said the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).

According to the press service of the MoD of the NKR, in the period from August 23 to August 29, Azerbaijan "made over 17,500 shots from different-calibre small firearms at Karabakh positions."

"In particular, the shelling was delivered by mortars having the calibre of 60 and 82 mm, and from grenade launchers. The opponents also used a Turkey-made rocket launcher model TP-107," the MoD of the NKR has reported.

In its turn, today Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 135 shelling episodes within the last 24 hours.
