North-Ossetian authorities plan to increase funding of investment programmes

Next year, authorities of North Ossetia intend to allocate 324 million roubles of budget funds for the implementation of investment programmes. At the same time, officials admit that the republic’s capacity of co-financing the programmes are limited.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt about the increased funding at the interdepartmental commission engaged in drafting proposals for budgetary allocations related to investment expenditures. The commission held its sitting on August 20.

The commission is chaired by Taimuraz Tuskaev, the acting vice-premier. According to his story, prior to drafting the programme, he undertook business trips to eight rural areas aiming to define the "main areas of fund allocation."

Besides, they received proposal from sectoral ministries on the formation of the republic’s targeted investment programme.

The republic’s targeted investment programme makes a separate unit in the budget of North Ossetia for 2016. Besides, 126 million roubles will be spent on construction and reconstruction of housing and utilities.

The interdepartmental group has drawn attention to the fact that the inclusion of the villages of Gizel and Verkhni Fiagdon into the programme was caused by last year’s complaints of villagers about a shortage of high-quality drinking water.
