Witnesses in Amirov's case state his nephew's alibi

Yusup Djaparov, Said Amirov's nephew, could not participate in the shelling of a shopping centre in Kaspiysk, because at that time he was in Moscow, his two friends told the court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the North-Caucasian District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don is considering the main case against Said Amirov since May 12. Apart from Amirov, the prisoner's dock contains his nephew Yusup Djaparov, Murad Aliev, Akhmedov brothers, Magomed Kadiev and Zubair Mutaev.

One of the episodes of the case is the terror act committed at the "Moskva" Shopping Centre on April 2, 2011, in the city of Kaspiysk. Then, a bomb from a grenade launcher hit an electric pole near the building. There were no casualties and victims. At the court session on May 12 the prosecutor in Amirov's case said that the motive for the shelling was in the "land issue".

As evidenced by witness Kurban Abubakarov, on March 31, 2011, he flew to Moscow to celebrate the birthday of his friend Irakli. Djaparov was also there by his invitation. The witness claims that he returned to Dagestan together with Djaparov on April 4 or 5, 2011.

The next witness Magomed Makaev reported that he participated in the celebration of the birthday of their mutual friend named Irakli, and Djaparov was really present at the celebration.

Earlier, on July 30, Bagand Abdullaev, who then worked as director of the above "Moskva" Shopping Centre, stated that Said Amirov, or the figurants in his case, were not involved in the shelling. According to his story, the militants were behind that attack.
