Parties in Karabakh conflict declare ceasefire violations

Azerbaijan and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) have expressed mutual accusations of shelling their positions on the border on July 28 and at night on July 29. According to the Azerbaijani party, the Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire for 88 times. The Defence Army of NKR has recorded 180 acts of shelling with ceasefire violations.

In the course of the above 180 violations, over 2800 shots were made by the Azerbaijani party in the direction of Armenian positions, said the NKR's Defence Army.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 28, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 131 acts of shelling committed on July 27. The NKR said that on the same day Azerbaijan broke the ceasefire on the frontline for about 210 times.
