Nagorno-Karabakh accuses Azerbaijan of 320 shootings within two days
As stated by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), within the last two days, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire on the frontline for about 320 times.
According to the MoD, on July 25 and 26, the Azerbaijani party "made over 5000 shots from small arms and artillery at Karabakh positions." The shelling was suppressed by response fire, says the report.
In its turn, on July 27, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 175 acts of shelling committed on July 25 and 26.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the parties in the Karabakh conflict are regularly accusing each other of violating the ceasefire. However, the regular monitoring session conducted by the OSCE mission on July 8 revealed no ceasefire violations on the troops contact line. A similar result was obtained by OSCE observers on June 17.
