Power agents report confiscation of firearms from house of Kizlyar District head

After detention of Andrei Vinogradov, the head of the Kizlyar District of Dagestan, firearms were found in his household, said a republic's law enforcement source. Vinogradov was brought to the city of Mozdok by helicopter.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Vinogradov was detained tonight in Kizlyar. The reason for his detention is unknown yet.

The source said that at detention of the official, law enforcers had a conflict with his securities.

"The bodyguards of Vinogradov tried to render resistance, but it was suppressed. No one was injured; the district head was taken away by helicopter," the "Interfax" quotes the law enforcement source.

Currently, the houses belonging to some of Vinogradov's close relatives are being searched.

The detainee was transported by helicopter to Mozdok, from where he will soon be convoyed to Moscow.
