Karabakh can be cleared from mines in 5-7 years

For the years of its work in Nagorny Karabakh, The HALO Trust, a British organization, has cleared from mines 524 thousand square meters of land and has neutralized 3,377 mines and 26,396 items of unexploded ordnance. The head of the organization's Karabakh office said it would take 5-7 years to clear Karabakh from mines completely. The organization is financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Netherlands Government, and some organizations.
