Gotsatl villagers report search of suspected militant's house

In the course of searching the house of a suspected militant, law enforcers detained Magomed Gadjimagomedov's wife, said residents of the village of Gotsatl, Khunzakh District of Dagestan.

According to villagers, today armed men in uniform arrived in Gotsatl and conducted a search of Magomed Gadjimagomedov's house.

"His house was searched; and we don't know whether they found anything illegal there or not. We only know that they detained Gadjimagomedov's wife. The husband is on the run; he was put on the wanted list on suspicion of involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF) and killing of our villager Omar Anasov," a Gotsatl villager told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no law enforcers' comments to the information about the search of Magomed Gadjimagomedov's house. As of 5:30 p.m. Moscow time, there was no information about any special operations in Gotsatl on the website of the republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
