Resident of Derbent arrested after search of his house

Law enforcers have detained a resident of Dagestan, in whose house they found weapons and ammunition. He was arrested by the court.

According to the police, during the search they found an RGD-5 grenade and 31 rounds of 7.62 mm cartridges.

A criminal case has been opened against the house owner in illegal arms and ammunition circulation; he was detained as a suspect. Then, it was decided to put him in custody, reports the website of the Chief Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD).

The dates of the search and suspect's placing into custody are not specified.
