Ingush Prosecutor's Office sends application of Alievs' relative for check to MIA

The application of the brother of Ali Aliev, who was killed in Ingushetia together with his wife Leyla, was sent by the republic's Prosecutor's Office sent to the Ingush Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for a check, the duration of which is prescribed as 30 days, that is, until August 7.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 25, during a special operation in the Nasyr-Kort District of the city of Nazran, two alleged members of an illegal armed formation (IAF) were killed, namely: a 43-year-old resident of Nasyr-Kort Ali Aliev, and his of 36-year-old wife Leyla Alieva. However, their relatives assert that the spouses were executed already after detention. Magomed Aliev, Ali's brother, said that he had appealed to the republic's Prosecutor's Office and the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) demanding to conduct a check of power agents' actions.

"I wrote my applications and brought them to the Prosecutor's Office and the Investigating Department," Magomed Aliev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. However, as of July 10, none of these agencies had communicated with him.

The press service of the republic's Prosecutor's Office told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Magomed Aliev's application was registered on July 3, adding that on July 7 the application was sent to the republic's MIA.

"The MIA should conduct a check of the information contained in the application, and then report the outcomes back to us. Under the law, such check should be over in thirty days," said an employee of the Prosecutor's Office.
