Dagestani woman reports detention of her son on suspicion of aiding militants
In Moscow, law enforcers have detained Akhmed Mutalimov, a resident of Dagestan. He is suspected of aiding members of illegal armed formations (IAFs), his mother told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to Khadizhat Mutalimova, her 44-year-old son is a native of Dagestan, but he lived and worked in Moscow for the last three years.
"This morning he was visited by policemen, who detained him. Now he was taken to Dagestan," said the woman, adding that the arrest was conducted by the law enforcers from Dagestan.
According to Mutalimova, earlier her son had no problems with law enforcement bodies; he never did anything illegal. She suggests that the reason for his detention could be in his neighbour, who was killed about a month ago in a special operation, since the police began to take interest in her son after the event. "But they did not even communicate," said the woman.
