In Yerevan, 46 protesters brought to police
Today, the police have dispersed the sitting strike, which took place in Bagramyan Avenue in Yerevan in protest against the decision to raise the prices for electricity in the country.
Law enforcers dragged protesters by their legs and forced them into a bus. As a result, the police managed to break through the protesters' cordon by pushing the protesters on the sidewalk.
After the dispersal of demonstrators in Bagramyan Avenue in Yerevan, the policemen brought 46 persons to the police stations. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Ashot Agaronyan, the Chief of the Information Department of the Armenian Police. According to him, the police released six minors immediately after they were brought to the police stations.
Ashot Agaronyan has assured that none of the protesters will be brought to administrative responsibility.
