Krasnodar Territorial Court returns material on extension of Temirsultanov's arrest for revision
In the Krasnodar Territory, the appellate court has cancelled the decision to extend the custody of Khavazh Temirsultanov, a native of Chechnya, accused of robbery. The case was returned to the court of Sochi.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Temirsultanov was arrested in December 2014. He was charged with a robbery attack on a Sochi pensioner Arthur Zadelnikov. However, the pensioner himself claims that Temirsultanov was not involved in the attack on him.
On June 10, Temirsultanov's arrest was extended by the Adler District Court of Sochi until July 10. His defence appealed against the decision; and on July 3, the Krasnodar Territorial Court examined the appeal complaint of the defence and found it justified.
The above decision of the Adler District Court was cancelled; and the case was sent for reconsideration to the same court, said Alexander Boichenko, Temirsultanov's advocate. He noted that he intends to seek Temirsultanov's release.
