CTO regime introduced in Kizilyurt District of Dagestan

Today, at 3:00 a.m. Moscow time, in the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, law enforcement bodies started their counterterrorist operation (CTO). The legal CTO regime was introduced at 3:00 Moscow time, the operative headquarters of Dagestan has reported.

The introduction of the CTO regime has to do with the search and neutralization of militants, the "Chernovik" weekly reports.

"Law enforcement bodies are conducting a series of action to neutralize members of the armed underground and their helpers," the "Interfax-Yug" quotes its source from the operative headquarters.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on June 24 power agents cancelled the CTO regime, introduced on June 23 in the Buynaksk and Untsukul Districts of Dagestan, in connection with which the Gimry Tunnel was closed for motor traffic.
