About 100 protesters spent the night in Bagramyan Avenue in Yerevan
According to coordinators of the protest action against the increase of electricity tariff, last night about 100 protesters stayed in Yerevan, in Bagramyan Avenue.
According to coordinators at 8:05 p.m. Moscow time on July 2, over a thousand protesters stayed in Bagramyan Avenue. The avenue remains paralyzed for ten days already because of the sit-in strike.
Today, at 3.15 a.m. Yerevan time (2:15 a.m. Moscow time), the number of protesters in the avenue, according to coordinators was about 100 people. The situation is calm, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
The police do not prevent the strike, despite numerous statements about their readiness to restore public order in the avenue. Special police equipment, except water cannon, is still in Bagramyan Avenue.
