Three persons killed in special operation in Dagestan

In the Untsukul District of Dagestan, where the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime is underway, two suspected militants and a soldier have been killed. This was reported by a source in the law enforcement bodies.

Tonight, at 3:00 a.m. Moscow time, a CTO regime was introduced in the Untsukul and Buynaksk Districts of Dagestan, and law enforcers began to search for militants. The legal CTO regime was introduced after the shootout, which occurred in the course of the special operations at about 3:00 a.m. not far from the village of Gimry in the Untsukul District.

"During the armed clash, two gunmen, who opened fire on fighters of the federal forces, were eliminated," reported the source in the law enforcement bodies. Meanwhile, according to the source, a contractor soldier of the interior troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) got a fatal wound, the "Interfax" reports.
