MoJ stops KBR's Union of Writers
The activities of the Union of Writers of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) have been suspended until September 17 this year. This decision was made by the head of the Department for the KBR of the Russian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) because of violations of the legislation regulating the work of non-profit organizations (NPOs).
The decision to suspend the republic's Union of Writers was made back on June 5. The document signed by A. Tupikin, the head of the MoJ's Department for the KBR, has been posted today on the website of the Department.
The republic's Department of the MoJ has explained that the suspension was applied after numerous violations admitted by the Union of Writers of the KBR of federal legislation regulating the activities of NPOs, the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria" reports, noting that the character of violations is not specified.
