Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of 90 ceasefire violations
As reported today by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire on the troops contact line for 90 times within the last 24 hours.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the parties in the Karabakh conflict are regularly accusing each other of violating the ceasefire; however, the May monitoring conducted by the OSCE mission revealed no acts of aggression.
According to the above MoD, the fire was delivered from the Armenian positions near the villages of Talysh and Gyulyustan of the Geranboy District; Chilyaburt, Chaily and Gekarkh of the Terter District; Shuraabad, Shikhlar, Djavakhirli, Sarydjaly, Yusifdjanly, Merzili and Kuropatkino. Besides, according to the MoD, shelling was coming from nameless heights in the Geranboy, Khodjavend, Fuzuli and Djabrail Districts.
The shelling was suppressed by response fire, says the website the MoD of Azerbaijan.
