ICRF states three militants killed in Dagestan

The data on the number of casualties of the shootout in the Kurakh District of Dagestan was updated by the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation. Earlier, two killed persons were reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that last night, in the Kurakh District, power agents killed two alleged members of illegal armed formations (IAFs), who opened fire on employees of federal law enforcement bodies.

According to investigators, today, in a forest near the village of Akhnig, law enforcers have carried out their activities aimed to reveal and detain IAF members. In an abandoned house they found three armed men.

Power agents offered them to lay down arms and surrender, but the armed men refused and fired shots in the direction of law enforcers. The attackers were killed by response fire.
