Nagorno-Karabakh reports on 250 cases of violation of ceasefire during one week

In the period of May 17-23, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line for about 250 times, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh announces.

According to the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD, in the period of May 17-23, Azerbaijan "made more than 3500 shots on the Armenian positions from different types of small arms, grenade launchers, and mortar launchers."

The advanced units "gave an adequate response to the actions of the enemy," the website of the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reports today.

At present, the Azerbaijan's position concerning the statement made by the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD is still unknown. Meanwhile, today, Azerbaijan has accused Armenia of 71 firings during one day.
