Relatives of Derbent resident report on his disappearance

Relatives of Magomeddjavad Khizriev, a 47-year-old resident of Derbent, report on his possible kidnapping. They have filed a complaint to the police about his disappearance.

On May 19, Peri Khizrieva, a resident of Derbent, reported on the possible kidnapping of her husband. According to the woman, the last time she talked to her husband by phone was at 11:00 a.m. of May 19. Since then, his family members know nothing about his whereabouts.

Peri Khizrieva has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent she assumes that her husband has been kidnapped by law enforcers, as she learned from an unofficial source in the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

According to the woman, her husband is a Muslim, who observes religious rites. Magomeddjavad Khizriev has been not registered at the police station, and he got no criminal and administrative records. He has been engaged in repair and construction works.

According to Peri Khizrieva, the law enforcement bodies do not report that Magomeddjavad Khizriev has been brought to their place. On May 21, his relatives filed a complaint to the Derbent GOVD (City Interior Division) about the disappearance of their family member.
