In Dagestan, forester shot dead by armed men

In the Suleiman-Stalsky District of Dagestan, a forester was killed by unidentified assailants. Law enforcers are searching for six armed men.

According to an official from the law enforcement bodies of the region, the armed men killed the forester and then stole his Niva car.

"A search for six unidentified armed men is underway. According to the preliminary version, the attackers stopped the Niva car driven by the forester, forced him out of the car and killed him. The body of the forester with a gunshot wound was found 150 meters from the car," stated the official from the law enforcement bodies of the region.

According to the official, it became known that before they stopped the forester's car, the armed men stopped another car with a family, including a man, a woman, and a child. The armed men let them go, the "Interfax" reports.

Investigators have identified the killed man as 48-year-old Zeinudin Batmanov, a resident of the village of Ikra, the "Lifenews" reports.
