Volgograd residents claim they were not allowed to attend Victory Parade
In Volgograd, ordinary citizens were not allowed to attend the Victory Parade, and a lot of city residents watched the parade from the roofs of hotels and houses. This was reported by residents of Volgograd.
On May 9, inVolgograd, the Victory Parade was held on Square of Fallen Warriors. In the course of the Victory Parade, about 16,000 people with portraits of veterans of World War II attended the action "Immortal Regiment".
Meanwhile, the residents of Volgograd note that "it was difficult to get to the Parade". Svetlana Antonova and Denis Antonov with their son came to watch the Victory Parade 1.5 hours before its beginning.
"We were not able to reach the square. Probably, we should have been arrived there at 5 a.m. We were standing in Peace Street. Military vehicles passed by, and we saw them. We will take a look at the rest of the Parade on the Internet," Denis Antonov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Many citizens were watching the Victory Parade from the balconies of the "Volgograd" and "Intourist" hotels and even from the roofs of the houses.
