Prosecutor's Office challenged termination of case on non-payment of wages to 55 workers of Chechen state farm

A Magistrate Judge has stopped the criminal case opened against the director of the state farm "Avturinsky" in the Shali District of Chechnya, who had been accused of non-payment of salaries to his employees for 18 months. The Prosecutor's Office has challenged the decision of the judge.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 3, 2014, a criminal case was opened against Ramzan Isaev, the director of the above state farm, for a complete non-payment of salaries for more than two months to employees of his organization. According to investigators, the salary debts at the farm for the period from January 2013 to June 2014 totalled to 3.378 million roubles.

"The court has found that Isaev, while possessing funds in the amount of more than 9 million roubles, deliberately, out of his personal interest, refused to pay salaries completely for more than two months to 55 workers of the state farm, which totalled 3.378 million roubles," says the website of the Prosecutor's Office of Chechnya.

At the trial, Isaev admitted his guilt in full and filed a motion to stop the case because of his sincere repentance. The state prosecutor asked the court to appoint a fine on him of 110,000 roubles with depriving him of the right to hold managerial posts for a year, since the property damage to victims has not been fully compensated.

Let us remind you that in September 2014, the Shali district administration treated the state farm "Avturinsky", founded in 2002, as "one of the leading enterprises."
