In Ingushetia, police seize weapons and ammunition from local resident
While inspecting a house in the village of Ali-Yurt, policemen found and seized a pistol and ammunition from a local resident. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Ingushetia.
According to the press service of the Ingush MIA, the house, where a 64-year-old man lives, has been inspected during search operations.
"The following items have been found and seized: a SAP pistol (Stechkin automatic pistol, – note of the 'Caucasian Knot') with a magazine filled with ammunition and a holster for a SAP pistol," the website of the Russian MIA for Ingushetia reports.
Officials from the Ingush MIA have noted that a criminal case was instituted under Article 222 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunition) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
