RBC: investigators question Ruslan Geremeev in Boris Nemtsov's case

Ruslan Geremeev, a former officer of the battalion "Sever" (North) of the Interior Troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), has been questioned by investigators as a witness in the case of the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that opposition politician Boris Nemtsov was killed on February 27 in the centre of Moscow. According to former colleagues of Zaur Dadaev, who was arrested in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, Ruslan Geremeev went to Moscow six months ago together with Zaur Dadaev, who also used to serve in the battalion "Sever". On March 19, the "Kommersant" reported with reference to its own sources that in the case of the Boris Nemtsov's murder, the investigators instructed policemen to find Ruslan Geremeev for questioning as a witness.

It should be noted that on March 10, the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta" reported that the investigators believed the crime was organized by a close relative of a top-ranking Chechen law enforcer named Ruslan. On March 17, the "RBC" published the material, which reported with the reference to sources on the confession made by Zaur Dadaev, that a native of Chechnya, nicknamed Rusik, helped him to organize the murder and promised to pay him 5 million roubles for the murder of Boris Nemtsov.
