Azerbaijani MoD reports on death of its soldier

A soldier of the armed forces of Azerbaijan was killed in the Tartar District. This was reported by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD). According to the military officials, during the past day, the Armenian side violated the ceasefire for 57 times.

The soldier was killed in the direction of the village of Gapaly of the Tartar District on March 26. Name of the deceased soldier was Etibar Khudavi oglu Kyazymov, the agency "Trend" reported with reference to the Azerbaijani MoD.

The Azerbaijani positions were shelled in the villages of Gushchuairym and Gaimagly of the Agstafa District, in the villages of Gyzylgadjily and Kekhnegyshlag of the Gazakh District, in the nameless heights, and in the village of Garaveliler of the Gedabey District, the Azerbaijani MoD reports.

According to the Armenian side, last night, several dozen shots were heard in the direction of the border villages of the Tavush District. According to Artsrun Ovannisyan, the Press Secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Defence, shooting was not intense. In total, more than 100 shots were heard within the entire perimeter of the border, the "Armenia Today" reports.

On March 26, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Azerbaijani MoD also reported 57 violations of the ceasefire on the contact line.
