Yakhya Belkhoroev associates search in his house with his nephew's case

Yakhya Belkhoroev, a member of the Ingush Parliament, has reported that, according to the resolution presented by law enforcers, a searched of his house is connected with the investigation into the case against his nephew Abdul Belkhoroev.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 12, a series of searches was carried out in Ingushetia. Today, it has been continued. Special operations took place in Nazran and Magas, including in the houses of Yakhya Belkhoroev and Akhmed Belkhoroev, deputies of the National Assembly of Ingushetia, and their close relatives. According to the FSB Department, as a result of the searches, FSB agents seized cash and gold bullions for the total amount of 200 million roubles and an arsenal of weapons and ammunition.

According to Yakhya Belkhoroev, members of the assault group behaved correctly.

"When Lieutenant Colonel presented to me a search warrant, I read that those activities were carried out as a part of the investigation into the criminal case against Abdul Daudovich Belkhoroev, suspected of smuggling weapons. He is my nephew. He is 30 years old, and he is under investigation for more than a year," Yakhya Belkhoroev has said.

In the presented document, the deputy has also read that his son Isa Yakhyaevich lives in his father's house, and there may be things that can help in the investigation.

The deputy has confirmed the information that during a traumatic pistol was found during the search carried out in his house. According to Yakhya Belkhoroev, the traumatic pistol belongs to his son; however, in the mess, he failed to find permit for a weapon.

Akhmed Belkhoroev is the deputy chairman of the committee of the Ingush Parliament on economic policy and a member of the faction "Pravoe Delo" (Legitimate Cause). He called the search in his house a political event caused by his criticism of the activities of Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Evkurov.

According to advocate Umar Khayauri, during the searches, military vehicles were standing near the house of Ibragim Belkhoroev, including an armoured personnel vehicle, and there were a lot of people in camouflage and masks.
