Wounded policeman delivered to intensive care unit in Dagestan

Today, in the morning, in the settlement of Separatorny in Makhachkala, an armed attack was undertaken on a policeman, who was in a car. He was wounded, but also managed to wound one of the attackers by response fire. Then, the attackers disappeared.

"The policeman with multiple gunshot wounds is under intensive care," said the spokesman of the Investigating Department (ID) for Dagestan of the ICRF.

According to investigators, the policeman was attacked from two barrels, presumably, with a pistol and a submachine gun.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the attack under Article 317 (attempt on the life of a law enforcer) and Article 222 (illegal arms circulation) of the Criminal Code, the "Interfax" reports.

The armed attack on the policeman was committed in the yard of No. 98A in Akushinsky Avenue, the "Kavpolit" adds.
