No candidate for Chechen presidency registered yet

Jobless Khalit Tagirov, who submitted documents for the registration as a candidate in the Chechen presidential election on May 25, refused to be a participant in the presidential race today, May 26, reported the Chechen Central Election Commission. Information that Mariat Gorchkhanova, an official of the Urus-Martan district administration, submitted her documents for the participation in the election has not been confirmed either. Thus no candidate has submitted the documents to the election commission yet.
