Advocate of suspect in Nemtsov's murder case complains about non-admittance to his client

Zaurbek Sadakhanov, the advocate of Khamzat Bakhaev, detained in connection with the murder of Boris Nemtsov, reports that he was not allowed to see his client.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the politician Boris Nemtsov, a native of Sochi, was shot dead on February 27 in Moscow. On suspicion of involvement in the murder five people were detained: Zaur Dadaev, Anzor and Shagid Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev and Tamerlan Eskerkhanov.

According to Sadakhanov, on Saturday, March 14, he could not get to his client, who is kept in the temporary detention facility (known as IVS) No. 1, after he had made an agreement, on March 11, with Bakhaev's relatives to defend Khamzat.

Sadakhanov reported the non-admittance to the on duty unit of the GUVD (City Interior Department) and also intends to file a complaint to the Prosecutor's Office.

He associates the obstruction to his contacts the client to the investigators' desire "to force the suspects to confess."

Earlier, Sadakhanov entered into a similar agreement with Zaur Dadaev's relatives and also declared non-admission to his client. Later, the Dadaevs cancelled their agreement with this lawyer.
