Soldier of NKR's Defence Army shot dead
Soldier Albert Safaryan was fatally wounded on his combat duty post in the conflict zone, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has reported.
According to the MoD, Albert Safaryan, born in 1996, died on February 27. The incident occurred on the defensive duty section of the northern direction.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in February the NKR's MoD reported the death of at least three other soldiers in the conflict zone. On February 14, Arman Osipyan, born in 1995, was killed on his on duty post. On February 10, it became known about the death of Tigran Simonyan, born in 1991; his colleague, Senior Lieutenant Taron Gedeonyan is suspected of Simonyan's murder. On February 5, a soldier Shekspir Akopyan, 25, was killed; and the NKR accused armed forces of Azerbaijan of his death.
