Alexander Ivanov, the former vice-governor of the Krasnodar Territory, accused of abuse of office, was left in custody under the decision of the Krasnodar Territorial Court.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Alexander Ivanov was detained on February 2; on February 4, the Pervomaisky District Court of Krasnodar put him in custody for two months. Ivanov was charged with abuse of office during the construction of the sports complex "Basket-Hall" in Krasnodar, where the official was the curator.
The defence of Alexander Ivanov filed a complaint to the Territorial Court, which was dismissed, the court has reported.
Let us note here that on the same day with Ivanov, Vadim Lukoyanov, the vice-governor of the Krasnodar Territory, was detained. On February 4, the court sentenced him to a two-month arrest on suspicion of committing offenses under Part 3, Article 33, and part 2, Article 201 (abuse of power) of the Russian Criminal Code.
