NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 2500 shelling episodes within a week

As stated today by the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), within this week, Azerbaijani armed forces have violated the ceasefire in the conflict zone for about 2500 times.

According to the NKR's Defence Army, on January 4-10, the Azerbaijani party made more than 25,000 shots at Karabakh positions.

So far, no comments have been made by the Azerbaijani party on the above statement of the NKR's Defence Army.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since the start of 2015, the parties of the Karabakh conflict have been daily reporting each other's ceasefire violations. According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan, on January 9 and tonight, Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire at various sections of the troops' contact line for 56 times.
