The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported that the Armenian armed forces have shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani Army and villages located along the frontline in the Karabakh conflict zone.

In response to the shelling of villages and civilians, the Azerbaijani side will take "appropriate and strong measures, using all the military resources, and that will cause more severe and devastating losses on the part of the Armed Forces of Armenia, and the responsibility will rest with the Armenian leaders," stated the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.
