Kadyrov states 36 wounded law enforcers in militants' attacks on Grozny

According to the latest data, 36 law enforcers were wounded in the militants' attack on Grozny, said the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, adding that not 10, but 11 members of the armed underground were killed in the fight on December 4.

Earlier, it was reported that four of the wounded policemen died. Besides, as a result of the fight in the House of Press, a civilian perished. At the night of the attack there was nobody in the school building.

Kadyrov also said that two of the wounded policemen are in grave condition and will be taken to Moscow, 12 law enforcers had been sent earlier.

Besides, Kadyrov announced that during the special operation 11 members of the armed underground were killed; all of them have been identified, and now power agents are establishing their accomplices, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

According to Chechen authorities, the attack was organized by Akhmad Umarov, a brother of Doku Umarov, the late leader of the "Imarat Kavkaz", which was recognized as an extremist organization in Russia. Akhmad Umarov "has financed, organized and is fully responsible for what happened," said the head of Chechnya.

"Russian law enforcement bodies shall demand his extradition from Turkey," the "Interfax" quotes Kadyrov as saying.
