Resident of Makhachkala to stand trial on charges of participating in IAF

The Dagestani Prosecutor's Office has sent to the court the criminal case against the 28-year-old resident of Makhachkala Zakir Isaev, accused of participation in an illegal armed formation (IAF).

According to investigators, in January 2014, Zakir Isaev joined the IAF that acted in the territory of Makhachkala.

According to prosecutors, Isaev provided housing to other IAF members, bought food for them, secretly transported them, carried out surveillance over law enforcers and perform other assignments.

Isaev was placed in custody, the website "News of Russia's Prosecutor's Office" reports.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" wrote that in November the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan sent to the court the criminal case against a resident of the republic Magomed Shikhmagomedov, who was accused of funding militants.
