Ingush police refuse to announce versions on GIBDD inspector's murder because of secrecy of investigation

The name and title of an inspector of the road police (known as GIBDD) shot dead in Magas and the versions of his murder are not revealed in the interests of the investigation. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by an official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Ingushetia..

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported with reference to a source in the law enforcement bodies, in the evening of November 24, in Magas, unidentified persons shot and killed a GIBDD inspector. The incident occurred in Zazikov Avenue in the capital of Ingushetia.

At present, the press service of the Ingush MIA refuses to comment on the incident.

"We have been instructed by our chiefs not to comment on the incident to the media. This is being done in the interests of the investigation," explained Anna, an assistant of the press service of the Ingush MIA.

According to her, the family members of the killed GIBDD inspector will be provided with financial assistance.
