Turkish citizen of Circassian origin detained in Minvody

Erdogan Boz, a Turkish citizen of Circassian origin, who was on his way to Cherkessk to the folklore conference, was detained at the airport of the city of Mineralnye Vody (Minvody).

A message about the detention of Erdogan Boz arrived to the SMS service of the "Caucasian Knot". "Erdogan Boz is one of prominent Circassian activists in Turkey," wrote the author of the message, adding that Boz will be sent back to Turkey in the morning on November 27.

Erdogan Boz has expressed his protest against his detention and indignation with his treatment like a criminal, since he was fingerprinted, reports the "NatPress", noting that the arrest occurred at three o'clock in the morning, while the return flight, by which the activist will be sent to Turkey, will take place at 2:20 a.m. on November 27.

So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments of law enforcement bodies of the Stavropol Territory and the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) on the incident.
