Khajimba: results in international recognition of Abkhazia will appear in near future

A progress can be expected in the near future in international recognition of Abkhazia's independence, said the head of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba in his interview to the "Caucasian Knot".

Speaking about the recognition of Abkhazia by the international community, Khajimba stressed that the republic relies on the help of its allies.

"Everything is done with account of available opportunities, which to date are limited. I hope that through our efforts and assistance of our allies in the near future we'll see results in the international recognition of Abkhazia's independence," Khajimba said, in particular.

However, he refused to specify any particular country that may recognize the independence of Abkhazia.
