KChR: charity marathon "Hurry up to do good!" raises 700,000 roubles

Particular targeted assistance within the charity marathon "Hurry up to do good!", held in the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), was rendered to children from large families, disabled children and those in need of medical treatment.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the charity marathon action "Hurry up to do good!" is held in the republic annually. This year, the action was launched on May 15 and ended on November 1.

The action managed to raise about 700,000 roubles to provide specific financial help, Galina Emkuzheva, the chair of the KChR's regional branch of the Russian Children's Fund, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The aim of the marathon is to raise funds for seriously ill children, orphans and children in difficult situations, as well as to support children's social institutions. The organizers of the action are the above branch of the Russian Children's Fund, together with the State TV and Radio Company (STRC) "Karachai-Cherkessia" with the support of the Republic's Parliament.
