In Quarter 3 of 2014, six persons fell victim to armed conflict in Kabardino-Balkaria

In the period of July 1-September 31, 2014, at least 6 persons fell victims to the armed conflict in the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria. Of them, 4 persons were killed, and 2 others were wounded. These are the results of calculations made by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

In total, six persons suffered in the armed conflict. Of them, 4 persons were killed, and 2 others were wounded. In the course of special operations, three suspected members of the armed underground were killed, and two law enforcers were wounded. Besides, one civilian was killed.

It should be noted that all of the above incidents occurred in August. In July and September, no victims of the armed conflict have been reported in the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria.

One should understand that the above statistics cannot reflect with absolute accuracy the number of victims in each of the identified categories of the survey. Not all the data get into news reports. It is not always possible to verify the reliability of statements made by law enforcement bodies.

It should be noted that in the Quarter 2 of 2014, at least 22 persons fell victims to the armed conflict in Kabardino-Balkaria. Of them, 19 were killed, and three others were wounded.

In total, in 2013, at least 123 persons fell victims to the armed conflict. Of them, 92 persons were killed, and 31 others were wounded.
