In Vremenny, law enforcers search for Amir of "Mountain Sector of Vilayat Dagestan"

The settlement of Vremenny of the Untsukul District, where the counterterrorist operation (CTO) is underway, provides shelter up to five militants, including Magomed Suleimanov, the kadi of "Dagestan Vilayat" and the Amir "Mountain Sector of Dagestan Vilayat". This was reported by Magomed Magomedov, the head of the municipality. The information has not been officially confirmed by the law enforcement authorities.

According to Magomed Magomedov, the information about the members of the armed underground wanted by the law enforcers was announced at the interagency meeting held on October 22. "According to the law enforcers, the CTO regime will be lifted only when the criminal grouping is destroyed," Magomed Magomedov has said.

He has added that at present, all the residents left Vremenny.

Under the law, the Russian government is to take part in smoothing the aftermath of the counterterrorist operation and provide assistance to citizens evacuated from the territory of the CTO.
