On September 26, near the mosque located in Bolshaya Tatarskaya Street, OMON (riot police) agents detained a parishioner, who was suspected of a road accident. After that, Muslims, blocked the bus with OMON agents and forced them to release the detainee. According to eyewitnesses, the believers' reaction was caused by aggressive behaviour of an official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

Later, according to the Moscow Chief Department of the Russian MIA, all the troublemakers who resisted the police were detained, including two natives of Ingushetia – Adam Oskanov and Magomed Tochiev. According to the police, they provoked the riots. The court ruled to arrest them.

On October 8, the blogger received a call from an unidentifiable number to his mobile phone; and threats were expressed to him. On October 9, Charinsky filed an application about the threats to the UVD (Interior Department for the Central Administrative District of the above Chief Department of the MIA for Moscow.

The application asks to identify the source of threats and to protect him and his relatives from danger. Charinsky explained that earlier he had never received threats; therefore, he associated the threats with his resonant video.
